Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4944

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is fasting, then visits a sick person and attends a funeral, is forgiven, unless he commits some new wrong afterwards."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Zabban bin Fa'id, whom Abu Hatim declared thiqah (trustworthy), while others declared him da'if (weak).
