وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " النَّاسُ رَجُلَانِ : عَالِمٌ وَمُتَعَلِّمٌ ، هُمَا فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمَا مِنَ النَّاسِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي سَنَدِ الْأَوْسَطِ نَهْشَلُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَفِي الْآخَرِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ ، وَهُمَا كَذَّابَانِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي سَنَدِ الْأَوْسَطِ نَهْشَلُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَفِي الْآخَرِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ ، وَهُمَا كَذَّابَانِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People are of two kinds: the scholar and the student. These two are equal in reward, and there is no good in the people besides them (that is, others)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. The chain of the narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat contains Nahshal bin Sa'id, and the other chain contains al-Rabi' bin Badr, and both of them are kadhdhab (liars).
