Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4888

It is narrated from him; he said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was fasting, he would drink milk when breaking his fast. I brought him a cup of milk and placed it by his side; he covered it, and during that time he was praying.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Abbad bin Kathir al-Ramli, about whom there is criticism; however, he has been declared thiqah (trustworthy).
