وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " نِعْمَ السَّحُورُ التَّمْرُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best pre-dawn meal (suhur) is dates."
