Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4735

Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever gives silver or gold as a gift, or water or milk to drink, or gives a large camel as a present, it is like freeing a slave."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
