وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمُ الْفَقْرَ ، وَلَكِنْ أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمُ التَّكَاثُرَ ، وَمَا أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمُ الْخَطَأَ ، وَلَكِنْ أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَمْدَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not fear poverty for you; rather, I fear for you the pursuit of abundance. I do not fear mistakes for you; rather, I fear for you what is done deliberately."
