عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرَ أَنْ يُذْبَحَ شَاةٌ فَيُقَسِّمَهَا بَيْنَ الْجِيرَانِ ، قَالَ : فَذَبَحْتُهَا فَقَسَمْتُهَا بَيْنَ الْجِيرَانِ ، وَرُفِعَتِ الذِّرَاعُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الشَّاةِ إِلَيْهِ الذِّرَاعَ ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : مَا بَقِيَ عِنْدَنَا مِنْهَا إِلَّا الذِّرَاعُ قَالَ : " كُلُّهَا بَقِيَ إِلَّا الذِّرَاعَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: By the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a goat was slaughtered and its meat distributed among the neighbours. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I slaughtered it and I distributed it among the neighbours. Then the foreleg was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); of the meat of a goat, the foreleg was the most beloved to him. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Now only the foreleg remains with us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: All of it remains except the foreleg.
