Majma al-Zawaid 4588 — Urging charity with his words: "Protect"

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a hadith similar to one that has already passed, and added these words: "O Aishah! Buy yourself from Allah Almighty; I cannot avail you anything against Allah Almighty, even if it is with half a date (that you buy yourself). O Aishah! Let no one who asks return from you (empty-handed), even if he takes away only a burnt hoof."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Shabib, and he is da'if (weak).
