Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4519

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this as a marfu' hadith (traced back) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not be importunate when asking, for whoever extracts something from us in this way will not be blessed in it."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
