Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4504

In one narration the words are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Six days; O Abu Dharr, understand what will be said to you after that." When the seventh day came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I advise you to have taqwa (fear) of Allah Almighty in every respect, in your private affairs and your public ones. When you do something bad, do something good as well. Never ask anyone for anything, even if your whip falls. Do not take a trust into your keeping, and do not judge between two people." Ahmad recorded all of these narrations, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
