بَابُ الصَّدَقَةِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِآلِهِ وَلِمَوَالِيهِمْ .

وَعَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِمَا الرِّضْوَانُ : مَا تَعَقِلُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : صَعِدْتُ غُرْفَةً فَأَخَذْتُ تَمْرَةً وَلُكْتُهَا فِي فِيَّ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلْقِهَا ; فَإِنَّا لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Rabi'ah bin Shayban Abu al-Hawra narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "What do you remember from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied: I climbed up to an upper room, took a date from there, put it in my mouth and began chewing it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take it out! Charity is not lawful for us."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
