Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out at night, wishing to supplicate for the people of al-Baqi', and Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. Then he came back, and on the way back he passed by a grave and said: "Uff! Uff! Uff!" Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you! There is no one with you except me; are you saying 'Uff' to me?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, rather I am saying 'Uff' to the occupant of this grave, who was asked about me and had doubts about me."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
