عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ فَتَّانَ الْقَبْرِ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : أَتُرَدُّ عَلَيْنَا عُقُولُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَعَمْ كَهَيْئَتِكُمُ الْيَوْمَ " . فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : بِفِيهِ الْحَجَرُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the trial of the grave. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah, will our minds be returned to us?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, just as they are today." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Then he (the questioner) will be given his answer."
