عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رُقَيَّةً - رَحِمَهَا اللَّهُ - لَمَّا مَاتَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْقَبْرَ رَجُلٌ فَارَقَ أَهْلَهُ " ، فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ عُثْمَانُ عَلَيْهِ الرِّضْوَانُ الْقَبْرَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Sayyidah Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No man who has parted from his wife shall enter the grave." So Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) did not enter the grave.
