Book of Funerals
بَابُ كُلِّ أَحَدٍ يُدْفَنُ فِي التُّرْبَةِ الَّتِي خُلِقَ مِنْهَا .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنْ حَبَشِيًّا دُفِنَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دُفِنَ بِالطِّينَةِ الَّتِي خُلِقَ مِنْهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِيسَى الْخَزَّازُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: An Abyssinian was buried in Madinah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has been buried in the soil from which he was created."
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Isa al-Khazzaz, and he is da'if (weak).
