وَعَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ خَمْسًا .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ خَلَا ذِكْرَ النَّجَاشِيِّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَكَثِيرٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ خَلَا ذِكْرَ النَّجَاشِيِّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَكَثِيرٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
Kathir bin Abdullah narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said five takbirs in the funeral prayer for the Negus (al-Najashi). (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
Imam Ibn Majah also recorded it, but he did not mention the Negus.
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The narrator Kathir is da'if (weak).
