عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ بَيْنَ الْقُبُورِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade offering the funeral prayer between the graves.
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
