بَابُ التَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ .

وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي عَطَاءٍ قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ حِينَ مَاتَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ بِالطَّائِفِ ، فَوَلِيَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا ، وَأَخَذَهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْقِبْلَةِ حَتَّى أَدْخَلَهُ الْقَبْرَ ، وَضَرَبَ عَلَيْهِ فُسْطَاطًا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Imran bin Abi Ata' says: I was present with Sayyiduna Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) when Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) passed away in Ta'if. Sayyiduna Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) led his funeral prayer and said four takbirs, and he took him from the direction of the qiblah and lowered him into the grave, and he kept a tent pitched over his grave for three days.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
