وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَرَأَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ نَاهِضُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ نَاهِضُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the surah 'Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil-'alamin' (All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds) four times in the funeral prayer.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Nahid bin al-Qasim; I have not found anyone who gave his biography. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
