وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ فَاقْرَءُوا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَلَّى بْنُ حُمْرَانَ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَلَّى بْنُ حُمْرَانَ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ .
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you offer the funeral prayer, recite Surah al-Fatihah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Mu'alla bin Humran; I have not found anyone who mentioned him. The rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy, and some of its narrators (have been criticised).
