Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4138

In one narration the wording is: The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it like these qirats of ours?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, rather it is like Mount Uhud" (the narrator is unsure whether the words were:) "greater than Mount Uhud."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; however, in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir he recorded these words: It is reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (that he said:) "Whoever follows a funeral until he offers its funeral prayer and then returns receives one qirat, and whoever offers its funeral prayer and then walks with it until it is buried receives two qirats." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what are the two qirats?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Like Mount Uhud."
Al-Bazzar recorded something similar, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
