عَنْ جَابِرٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا خَمَّرْتُمُ الْمَيِّتَ فَأَخْمِرُوهُ ثَلَاثًا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you perfume the deceased with incense, do so three times."
