وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " النَّائِحَةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى طَرِيقٍ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ ، سَرَابِيلُهَا مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ ، وَيَغْشَى وَجْهَهَا النَّارُ إِذَا لَمْ تَتُبْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection the wailing woman will be on a path between Paradise and Hell. Her shirt will be of qatiran (a substance like tar), and fire will cover her face (or her body), if she did not repent (in this world before dying)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Ubaydullah bin Zahr, who is da'if (weak).
