بَابٌ فِيمَنْ مَاتَ لَهُ ابْنَانِ .

وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوْجَبَ ذُو ثَلَاثَةٍ " . فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ : وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ زَادَ : أَوْ وَاحِدٍ ؟ قَالَ : " وَوَاحِدٍ " .
وَيَأْتِي فِي الْبَابِ الْآتِي ، إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
وَفِيهِ أَبُو رَمْلَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ وَثَّقَهُ وَلَا جَرَّحَهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ زَادَ : أَوْ وَاحِدٍ ؟ قَالَ : " وَوَاحِدٍ " .
وَيَأْتِي فِي الْبَابِ الْآتِي ، إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
وَفِيهِ أَبُو رَمْلَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ وَثَّقَهُ وَلَا جَرَّحَهُ .
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one with three makes (Paradise) due." Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "And the one with two?" He said: "And the one with two."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, though he recorded these additional words: "And the one with one?" He said: "And the one with one."
This report will come later in the next chapter, if Allah wills. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Ramlah; I have not seen anyone declare him trustworthy or criticise him.
