وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ ، وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَهُوَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي الْإِيمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Unays al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the greatest of the major sins are associating partners with Allah and the false oath (al-yamin al-ghamus)."
