عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ الْيَمَانِ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَا خَيْرَ فِي جَمَاعَةِ النِّسَاءِ وَلَا عِنْدَ مَيِّتٍ فَإِنَّهُنَّ إِذَا اجْتَمَعْنَ قُلْنَ وَقُلْنَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثٌ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ بِنَحْوِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثٌ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ بِنَحْوِهِ .
Sayyidah Khawlah bint al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with her), the sister of Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no good in a gathering of women, nor in their presence with a deceased person, for when they gather, they say this and they say that."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Wazi' bin Nafi', and he is matruk (abandoned). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A report similar to it has already passed in the chapter on mosques.
