وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ ذَهَبَ بَصَرُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنْ كَانَ صَالِحًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ بِشْرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever loses his sight in this world, Allah Almighty will appoint a light for him on the Day of Resurrection, if he is righteous."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator, Bishr bin Ibrahim al-Ansari, and he is da'if (weak).
