Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3707

Al-Aswad bin Yazid narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) (the narrator is in doubt; perhaps the words are:) I saw one of the two of them performing the prostration of recitation in Surah al-Inshiqaq.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
He also recorded this report from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) without any doubt. Its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, about whom there is criticism.
