Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites ten verses, his name will not be recorded among the heedless (al-ghafilin); whoever recites one hundred verses, his name will be recorded among the devoutly obedient (al-qanitin); whoever recites two hundred verses, his name will be recorded among the worshippers (al-'abidin)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and he says: Hammad bin Hammad bin Khuwar, the brother of Humayd, is alone in narrating it. I say: Ibn Hibban mentioned him in the book al-Thiqat.
