بَابُ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ . وَفِيهِ : الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the (voluntary) prayer of the day two by two.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Ala' bin Hilal, who is da'if (weak).
