Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "So-and-so performs voluntary prayers at night, but when morning comes, he steals." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What (prayer) he recites will restrain him (from stealing)."
This narration was recorded by Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Bazzar, and its narrators are the narrators of the "Sahih".
