وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : مَا حَالٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يَجِدَ الْعَبْدَ فِيهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَجِدَهُ عَافِرًا وَجْهَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النُّجُودِ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: There is no state more beloved to Allah Almighty in which to find His servant than finding him with his face placed in the dust (that is, in prostration).
