وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " صَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا ، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا بَيْتِي عِيدًا وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ وَسَلِّمُوا فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ وَسَلَامَكُمْ تَبْلُغُنِي أَيْنَمَا كُنْتُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Imam al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray (voluntary) prayers in your houses and do not make them graveyards, and do not make my house a place of festivity. Send blessings and peace upon me; your blessings and your peace will reach me wherever you may be."
