Al-Aswad bin Yazid said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The best hour of heedlessness is the time between Maghrib and Isha." (What he meant was that at this time people are heedless, and it is the best time for praying.)
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Jabir al-Ju'fi, about whom there is much criticism.
