وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ( حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ جَدِّي ) قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ ( فَقُلْتُ : يَا أَبَتِ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ فَقَالَ ) : رَأَيْتُ حَبِيبِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ وَقَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ وَقَالَ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ صَالِحُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ وَقَالَ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ صَالِحُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
Muhammad bin Ammar bin Yasir said: (the narrator says:) My father reported from my grandfather; he said: I saw Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) praying six rak'ahs after Maghrib. I asked: "O dear father! What prayer is this?" He replied: "I saw my beloved, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), praying six rak'ahs after Maghrib, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever prays six rak'ahs after Maghrib, his sins are forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in all three of his books and said: "Salih bin Qatan al-Bukhari is alone in reporting it." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: I have not found anyone who gives his biography.
