Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 323

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Modesty and faith are joined together; when one of them is taken away, the other departs after it as well."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti, who is a great liar (kadhdhab) and wicked.
