Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ammar al-Qaraz (may Allah be pleased with him), the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered the sermon on the two Eids, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon holding a bow. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded this narration from him: "When he (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon during war, he would deliver it holding a bow in his hand."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Another hadith from this Companion, recorded in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, has already passed in the chapter on Jumu'ah; both of these narrations are da'if (weak).
