Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3205

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan, then goes to the Eid prayer ground after taking a ritual bath (on the day of Eid), and seals it with charity (that is, sadaqat al-fitr), when he returns he has already been forgiven."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Nasr bin Hammad, who is matruk (abandoned).
