Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the night of Eid al-Fitr and the night of Eid al-Adha in worship, his heart will not die on the day when hearts die."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Umar bin Harun al-Balkhi, in whom weakness predominates. Ibn Mahdi and others praised him, but a large group declared him da'if (weak). And Allah knows best.
