بَابٌ فِيمَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ 3172 عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ يَصَّدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ جَابِرٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَالْمَشْهُورُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ قُلْتُ : وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ فِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .

عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ يَصَّدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ جَابِرٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَالْمَشْهُورُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ قُلْتُ : وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ فِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he missed Jumu'ah, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to give one dinar in charity.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; he says: This is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) only with this chain, and the well-known version is that it is a hadith of Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Muhammad bin Ayyub, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy).
