وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : ( قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ) وَ ( قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ) رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ مُوَثَّقُونَ
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite on the minbar Surah al-Kafirun and Surah al-Ikhlas.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; he says: Ishaq bin Zurayq is alone in narrating it. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: I have not found anyone who has given an account of him, and the remaining narrators of this narration have been declared trustworthy.
