عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْجُمُعَةَ ثُمَّ نَنْصَرِفُ فَنَبْتَدِرُ فِي الْآجَامِ فَمَا نَجِدُ مِنَ الظِّلِّ إِلَّا قَدْرَ مَوْضِعِ أَقْدَامِنَا .
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : فَمَا نَجِدُ مِنَ الظِّلِّ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ أَقْدَامِنَا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : فَمَا نَجِدُ مِنَ الظِّلِّ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ أَقْدَامِنَا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .
Sayyiduna al-Zubayr narrates: We used to offer the Friday prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then when we went back we would try to get into the shade, but we would find no shade except a space just enough to shade our feet. In one narration the words are: We found no shade except the place of our feet (which was shaded).
