بَابُ التَّبْكِيرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ .

Majma al-Zawaid 3083 — Going early to the Friday prayer
وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " احْضُرُوا الْجُمُعَةَ وَادْنُوا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَتَأَخَّرُ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَيُؤَخَّرُ عَنِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لِمَنْ أَهْلِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَفِيهِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Attend the Friday prayer and stay close to the imam, for a man who is among the people of Paradise, if he lags behind from the Friday prayer, is held back from Paradise, even though he is one of its people."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Hakam bin Abd al-Malik, and he is da'if (weak).
