وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ الْعَمَائِمِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : إِنَّهُ كَذَّابٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي بَابٍ قَبْلِ هَذَا بَيَانُ اللِّبَاسِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ الثِّيَابِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : إِنَّهُ كَذَّابٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي بَابٍ قَبْلِ هَذَا بَيَانُ اللِّبَاسِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ الثِّيَابِ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send down mercy upon those who wear turbans on Friday."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Ayyub bin Mudrik. Yahya bin Ma'in said: He is a kadhdhab (liar). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: It has already been stated in the chapter before this one that for Friday one should wear the finest of clothes.
