Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2991

Sayyiduna Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to pray standing in a boat, unless there was fear of drowning, in which case the matter is different.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator whose name has not been mentioned; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy), and its chain is muttasil (connected).
