Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Zuhr and Asr prayers together and the Maghrib and Isha prayers together; he delayed the Maghrib prayer and offered the Isha prayer early, and offered the two of them together.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and he said: Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab al-Harithi is alone in narrating it.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it in abridged form: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer two prayers together during a journey. He said: To our knowledge, from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)
this narration is reported only through this chain; the narrator named Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab is thiqah (trustworthy) and well known for worship. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
