Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2937

Al-Sa'ib bin Yazid al-Kindi, the nephew of al-Namir, says: The prayer was made obligatory as two rak'ahs and two; then the prayer of the resident was increased, and the prayer while travelling remained in its original form.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
