Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in the Asr or perhaps the Zuhr prayer, and he stood up after two rak'ahs (instead of sitting for the tashahhud). The people said Subhan Allah to him, but he continued his prayer. When he completed the prayer, he prostrated twice and then gave salam.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
