Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever does a good deed and is then pleased by it, or does an evil deed and it grieves him, is a believer."
Imam Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for al-Muttalib bin Abdullah; he is thiqah (trustworthy) but commits tadlis, and he did not hear from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), so this narration is munqati' (disconnected).
