وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ : " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَمْ يَرَوِهِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ إِلَّا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَمْ يَرَوِهِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ إِلَّا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say in his supplication: "O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided; grant me well-being among those to whom You have granted well-being; take me into Your care along with those whom You have taken into Your care; bless me in what You have given; and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree, and no decree is passed against You, and the one whom You befriend is never humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and said: No one narrated it from Alqamah except a narrator named Abu Hafs Umar. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: I have not found anyone who has given an account of him.
